What Is The Best Way To Care For Body Armor?
Follow the manufacturer's care instructions provided with your armor or refer to the instructions on the armor labels. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the ballistic performance capabilities of the armor.
In general, when you are not wearing your body armor, it should be stored flat in a cool, dry place.
The carrier of bulletproof vest should be hand-washed frequently and the panel should be wiped with a damp cloth as needed. Body armor should be inspected regularly for wear, set wrinkles and damage. In addition, after the carrier being washed, you, BUYER, are responsible to ensure that your ballistic panels are positioned inner side IN, and outer side OUT if applicable (check the inside vest panel label).
